Travel: IRELAND (Day 1)

Scroll down for English. :)

No, pa začnimo. Destinacija? Irska. Če sem natančna, Irska IN Severna Irska. Malo tu, malo tam. Galway, Belfast, Dublin.

Dejansko se moram za idejo za to potepanje zahvaliti fantom iz Start at Zero, ki so trenutno že četrti dan na turneji skozi Nemčijo do Anglije, čakata pa jih še Škotska, Irska (najbrž zdaj veste kam pes taco moli :D) in potem nazaj čez Anglijo in Nemčijo vse do rodne Wajdušne. No, ker sta zadnji dve turneji zame bili zelo žalostni (nepovezani vzroki) sem takoj, ko sem zvedla za to turnejo rekla: "No way, tokrat pa ne bom doma!". :)

Cheers, Kaja.

Ok, let's do this. At the moment (not at the moment of posting, because that would probably endanger the flight, but at the moment when I started writing this) I'm high in the air, flying to Dublin. Finally, after more than two years. Destination? Ireland. Well, if I'm accurate Ireland AND Northern Ireland. Galway, Belfast, Dublin.

I actually have to thank boys from Start at Zero for the idea, who are at the moment surviving their fourth tour day through Germany and England, with Scotland and Ireland (you can probably connect the dots now, right?) yet to come. Their last two tours had taken a toll on me (not at all their fault) and when I heard that they're going on a tour again I said: "No way! I'm not staying at home this time!" Of course there is no way they would take me with them, but it's not even that I would want that (I love showers and soft bed too much). So I decided to plan my own trip. The timing of the tour was of course perfect, since I'm right in my post-masters-degree break and there is no better way to spend a break than to spend it traveling. Of couse the break had to start with a cold, than a fever and some days of sleep in bed, but I'm ok now. What else can I be. I'm traveling! :D

I have a confession. I'm a bit scared, since this is my first travel all by my self (concerts in Belfast and Dublin where I will meet up with the "out-of-China" boys don't count), but I will probably have to speak to locals a lot, which is also good. :)

I am already in my hostel bed right now. Ready for sleep. I can feel the 1-hour difference. :D That's all for the first post. If you want to read more about my adventures, about the vegan food and beers that will make my trip even sweeter and see the beauty of Ireland and Northern Ireland through my camera, then see you tomorrow. :)

Cheers, Kaja.
